Safeguarding and protecting children and young people from child abuse and neglect is the responsibility of every individual in Northern Ireland across all disciplines and sectors.
The SBNI regional policy and procedures are for the use of all staff in SBNI member agencies and the statutory, voluntary and community sectors in Northern Ireland.
They provide guidance to all staff on what actions to take in relation to protecting and safeguarding children and young people from child abuse and neglect.
