To mark #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, National Children’s Bureau is promoting ‘Our Minds Our Future NI’ a youth led charter for Mental Health Services in NI.  The Charter was developed by a group of young people taking part in the Our Minds Our Future project in Northern Ireland. The National Children’s Bureau is coordinating this work and recently engaged with young people through NCB survey and focus groups to ask what they needed and wanted from mental health services. The children and young people’s voices were used to create a youth led Charter for Mental Health Services in Northern Ireland.

The work is part of a five-year project running across the UK, that engages young people in Northern Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland to have their say on how mental health services are designed and run.
