The Domestic Violence Committee was established in 2018 by the SBNI.  The focus of the Committee is to ensure the child is recognized as a victim in their own right where domestic violence has occurred.

The SBNI's Learning and Development Strategy for 2020-2023 is now operational and available to download.

The Learning and Development Strategy builds upon existing good safeguarding training, sets a benchmark for minimum training standards and provides a graduated framework, on four levels, for agencies to use when planning and delivering safeguarding training in Northern Ireland.
