Whilst understanding risk factors is crucial, identifying and strengthening protective factors is equally important in safeguarding children and young people against Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE). These protective factors can increase resilience and reduce the likelihood of children and young people being coerced into offending, even when exposed to risk factors.
